CAUTION: For those who might plan to use herbal mixtures as incenses -- NEVER burn any herbs or incenses without proper ventilation. NEVER burn any herbs indoors that may be poisonous. If an herb smells "bad" in its natural state, one can safely bet that it will probably smell much worse if it is burned. One should always have at least one herbal textbook that specifically references the *physical/medicinal* properties of specific herbs intended for use before mixing them for incenses of any kind. NEVER burn any gums indoors as some can release noxious and/or very heavy smoke, and NEVER leave ANY incense burning unattended.
